It's simply amazing how fast our baby is growing up. Sure it's a cliche but it's oh-so-true. Tucker is 1
year old now, as of Sunday, November 6th.
I never thought I would survive the first 6 months of his life. It was the toughest part of our induction to parenthood
but we all survived. Tucker is a smart boy and I'm not just saying that. We hear that so often from friends and
family, so it HAS to be true. Right?
Tucker first smiled at 1 month of age. His first tooth broke through around 5 or 6 months old and he started walking
at 10 months of age. He mimics words really well and can say up to 13 words. He can say "monkey" and it seems
to be everyone's favorite word to hear.
We celebrated his birthday on November 5th and it was a huge success. Over 40 people attended and everyone had
fun! Whew! Todd and I have decided to low-key it next time. We certainly don't regret playing it up BIG
time for Tucker. First birhday's require it don't they?
